Founded in 1969 as a civil engineering company, TSUKUI CORPORATION entered the nursing care business in 1983, when it started to provide home visit bathing services. Subsequently moving into a variety of other fields, including home visit care services, day services, and pay nursing homes, the Company has broadened its business operations.
In response to the needs of the market, the Company currently operates in four segments: the home care segment centered on the provision of day services; the pay nursing home segment that operates sheltered nursing homes; the human resource development segment that operates a fee-charging employment placement business as well as a dispatch business of general care workers specializing in medical and nursing care; and the assisted-living facilities segment providing quality living quarters and supporting for daily life activities. The Company is providing these businesses to offer direct-managed services at more than 500 locations throughout all the 47 prefectures in Japan.
In a nursing care insurance market that is expected to expand over the medium to long term, the Company will fulfill its mission as a business providing nursing care in an ageing society and meet its social obligations as an industry leader based on its management philosophy: “TSUKUI will conscientiously provide services that form an integral part of the local community and, by acting in good faith, responsibly contribute to its customers and society.” At the same time, the Company will run its businesses with a view to achieving sustainable growth over the long term.
